California Mobile Proxy: Carrier SIMs in Los Angeles

A California mobile proxy is a proxy that exits on a US carrier address geolocating to California. Mobile Proxy USA provides one with an AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon SIM in a 4G or 5G device we own in Los Angeles, assigned to one customer. Los Angeles is the largest city in the most populous US state and the site of the carriers' Southern California gateways, so an address from our Los Angeles hardware resolves to Los Angeles or to California. This page states what the address shows, why Los Angeles is our California site, what California-specific work the line is used for, and the plan facts.

What a California address shows

A lookup on a Los Angeles line returns the carrier's autonomous system, AS20057 for AT&T, AS21928 for T-Mobile or AS22394 for Verizon, the carrier's name as the organisation, a cellular connection type, and California as the region. T-Mobile addresses resolve to Los Angeles or a nearby Southern California city most reliably; AT&T addresses resolve to Los Angeles or another large California city; Verizon addresses can resolve to another city in the region. Country and state are reliable on all three, and Los Angeles itself shows most often on T-Mobile.

Why Los Angeles

Los Angeles has the population, the carrier infrastructure and 5G from all three carriers, and it is the vantage point that national advertisers, streaming services and technology companies treat as California by default. We do not run hardware in San Francisco, San Diego or Sacramento, and a Los Angeles address resolves as California for every state-level purpose. The line's clock is Pacific time, which is the latest of the four zones we cover and the natural match for buyers in East Asia and Oceania whose working day overlaps with Los Angeles afternoons.

California-specific work

California has its own consumer privacy law, which changes what many sites display and offer to Californians, its own insurance and utility pricing, the highest housing costs in the country and a distinct entertainment and technology advertising market. Customers use Los Angeles lines to verify California-targeted advertising, to see the privacy notices and opt-out controls a California resident is shown, to research insurance, lending and rent figures as a Californian, to test California-specific forms, and to operate accounts registered to California businesses from a California address on a Pacific clock. Agencies with permission to manage local profiles for Los Angeles-area businesses keep those sessions on a Los Angeles line.

The plan

One SIM in one device, chosen at checkout from USB modems, cellular routers and Android phones, for one customer. HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 access with UDP over SOCKS5, VLESS on server-based lines, unlimited data, unlimited rotation by link, API, dashboard, timer or by hand, and sticky addresses for as long as the carrier holds them. 4G lines usually run 20 to 45 Mbps, 5G 50 Mbps and up. Moves to or from any of our other seven cities are free and carry the remaining time. Activation is immediate; support is human, 24 hours a day, by email and Telegram bot.

Carrier and device for California

T-Mobile for a Los Angeles metro result in the lookup, AT&T for a conservative and steady address, Verizon for the strongest consumer reputation where state-level geolocation suffices. An Android phone device for app testing, a modem or router for browser and script work. Stock per carrier and device is shown at checkout at area.mobileproxyusa.com.
